The Air Defence Forces shot down a russian drone over Kyiv Oblast.
This was reported by Yuriy Ihnat, spokesman of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in a comment to Ukrainska Pravda.
The representative of the Armed Forces emphasised that the drone had been shot down, and its type was being identified. The day before, the Ukrainian media spread information that a reconnaissance balloon was hovering over the region.
In addition, on the night of March 1, the enemy attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones. The defence shot down all four drones.
Previously. Air Defence Forces shot down 11 out of 14 Shahed drones during a nighttime russian attack on February 23. In particular, 9 drones were destroyed in the airspace around Kyiv.
