Shmyhal announces approval of the State Anti-Corruption Program by the Cabinet of Ministers

The Government of Ukraine on Saturday approved the State Anti-Corruption Program, which is a key tool for implementing the Anti-Corruption Strategy 2021-2025.

Source. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal in his telegram channel.

"The program contains measures aimed at improving the effectiveness of the system of preventing corruption in various spheres of public life, forming a negative attitude to corruption in society and ensuring inevitable responsibility for corruption," the Prime Minister wrote.

"There is an understanding that such an important document should remain alive, open to suggestions and additions. That is why we will work with the Parliament, other stakeholders, and heads of anti-corruption agencies," the Prime Minister emphasized.

Shmyhal reminded that on Saturday, the commission had identified and submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers its proposals for three finalists for the position of director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU). The Prime Minister assured that the government would approve the NABU director at its next meeting.
