Ukraine has received a $1.25 billion grant from the USA – Ministry of Finance
Funding will be used for pension payments, assistance to IDPs, salaries for employees, etc.

The state budget of Ukraine has received a grant of $1.25 billion provided by the United States through the World Bank Trust Fund.

The funds were provided as part of the fourth additional financing for the project Public Expenditures for Administrative Capacity Endurance (PEACE).
The grant funding will be used to provide partial reimbursement of state budget expenditures, in particular for pension payments, support for certain state social assistance programmes (assistance for IDPs), and salaries of government employees, SES employees, and employees of higher education institutions.
It is noted that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of russia, Ukraine has already received $15.5 billion in grants from the United States.
Currently, Ukraine is implementing the PEACE project with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the International Development Association (IDA) for a total of $14.9 billion and €1.4 billion.
