Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated 470 occupiers, a tank, 11 armoured vehicles, 6 artillery systems, 6 UAVs, and 6 pieces of enemy vehicles and special equipment.
This was reported by the General Staff on its official Facebook page.
"The total combat losses of the enemy from 24 February 2022 to 18 April 2023 are approximately as follows:
- personnel – about 183,130 (+470) people,
- tanks – 3,661 (+1) pieces,
- armoured fighting vehicles – 7098 (+11) pieces,
- artillery systems – 2,810 (+6) pieces,
- MLRSs – 538 (+0) pieces,
- air defence systems – 285 (+0) pieces,
- aircraft – 308 (+0) pieces
- rotorcraft – 293 (+0) pieces,
- UAVs of operational and tactical level – 2,353 (+6),
- cruise missiles – 911 (+0),
- warships/boats – 18 (+0) pieces,
- motor vehicles and tankers – 5,676 (+4) pieces,
- special equipment – 330 (+2) pieces," reads the morning report on the Facebook page.
The battle for Bakhmut continues, with the enemy's offensive on the Kupyansk and Lyman axes unsuccessful, says Oleksandr Syrskyi, commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
According to Syrskyi's Telegram channel, the occupiers are conducting offensive operations in several directions simultaneously. But in most of them, their actions are unsuccessful.
"Despite the adversary's high activity, our soldiers manage to restrain his advance and inflict significant losses," he states.
