Mykola Solskyi adds that the transit of Ukrainian agricultural products will be controlled
Ukraine is to resume the transit of agricultural products through Poland on 21 April, which will be controlled at the border through Poland's SENT electronic system, which will track cargo.
This was announced by Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskyi during the United News TV marathon.
"They will be able to show that this is exactly what is happening if there is a request from society (transit, not imports – Mind). The tracker shows that a car or railway is going to ports or other EU countries," the minister stated.
Solsky said that in the first week, at the request of the Polish side, Ukraine could provide physical escort of the products by customs officers.
The minister also added that any company "that wants to sell something in Germany can do so, both as of today and from now on".
Solsky said that Poland accounted for 10% of Ukraine's total agricultural exports, of which half was transit and half was import.
