Ukrainian girl refuses to participate in Sanremo song contest because of russians' participation
Sofia Samolyuk emphasized that she would not share the stage with a representative of a terrorist country.

13-year-old Sofia Samolyuk refused to participate in the Sanremo Junior 2023 song contest in Italy because of the participation of russians.
Instead of a vocal performance, the 13-year-old Ukrainian made a powerful speech in which she pointed out the inadmissibility of the participation of citizens of the aggressor country in the international arena.
The girl learned that she would have to share the stage with a russian shortly before her performance. The organizers of the festival, which is held under the auspices of the international organization UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund), announced the participation of the russian representative a few hours before the concert.
"Dear viewers, I decided not to sing today. I found out that there is a participant from russia, a country that killed more than 500 Ukrainian children. Therefore, I cannot perform on the same stage with a representative of a terrorist country. Thank you all for your understanding. I believe that next year there will be no representative of this country. Please support Ukraine," Sofia said to the Italian audience.
Браво,Софія!Я пишаюся тобою і твоєю позицією!🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
