Ukraine wishes to join the Recommendations of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) on responsible supply chains for agricultural produce.
This is reported by Interfax-Ukraine. According to the publication, the Cabinet of Ministers has already approved a draft of the relevant letter to the organisation with the order №414 of 9 May.
Interfax-Ukraine recalls that on 2 May, the Cabinet of Ministers also approved a draft letter to the OECD regarding a request to join the Recommendations on ensuring gender equality in the public sector, and on ensuring gender equality in the fields of education, employment, and entrepreneurship.
Background. Mind previously reported that the USAID AGRO programme was additionally allocating over 36 million UAH for the modernisation of irrigation systems. The programme will enable two water user organisations to receive a sub-grant of 18 million UAH each.
