BES detectives conducted searches at Lviv Customs on the fact of illegal import of equipment to Ukraine
The cost of the imported equipment is about UAH 40 million
Detectives of the Bureau of Economic Security exposed a group of people who smuggled smartphones, computer equipment, household appliances into Ukraine and evaded customs duties and VAT.

According to the investigation, these goods were imported from a neighboring EU country and were not declared during customs clearance or imported under the guise of goods for personal use.
Detectives estimate that the value of the imported equipment is about UAH 40 million. The seized equipment was seized.
In addition, the BES conducted searches at the premises of the Lviv Customs. The searches resulted in the seizure of documents confirming the fact that the goods were transported by vehicles bypassing customs control.
The full range of persons involved in the illegal actions is currently being identified, the press release said.
