The government has allocated approximately 220 million UAH for the compensation of free accommodation for IDPs during September–December 2022
This refers to their placement in state, municipal, and private properties

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the decision to allocate 219,759,449 million UAH to compensate for the costs of free accommodation for internally displaced persons in state, municipal, and private properties during September–December 2022 under martial law conditions.

According to the order, the compensation is distributed as follows:
- Central executive bodies – 6.7 million UAH for the compensation of costs of state institutions under their administration.
- The Ministry of Education and Science – 23.1 million UAH to compensate state and private educational institutions under its jurisdiction.
- Ministry for Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure Development – 184.3 million UAH for providing an additional subsidy to local budgets for compensation to municipal and state educational institutions, as well as institutions of joint ownership of territorial communities.
- Oblast state administrations (relevant military administrations) – 5.6 million UAH for compensation to private institutions.
Background. It was previously reported that the state paid 6.3 billion UAH to IDPs in February.
