DTEK has prepared 2 thermal power units for winter, with 7 more under repair
Since the beginning of 2023, the company has invested over 890 million UAH in power plant repairs

DTEK has prepared two thermal power units for the autumn-winter season of 2023-2024. Seven more power units are at various stages of repair.
This is reported by the company's press service.
"As part of the repair work, we are preparing the thermal power plants for winter operation, as well as restoring equipment damaged by the enemy," the energy holding notes.
It is highlighted that immediately following the end of the most challenging heating season in the country's history, 2022-2023, DTEK began preparations for the next one.
"Since the beginning of 2023, the company has invested over 890 million UAH in thermal power plant repairs," the power company confirmed.
Last year, DTEK Energy carried out 26 power unit repairs at its thermal power plants. Investments in last year's repair campaign totalled nearly 2.2 billion UAH.
Background. On the evening of 15 May, the occupiers once again attacked one of DTEK Energy's thermal power stations. This was the third attack on the company's generating facilities since the beginning of May.
