SBU detects 6 people who filmed air defense in Kyiv - they face up to 8 years in prison
Russia used the data obtained through filming to adjust air strikes on the capital

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has identified six citizens living in Kyiv who filmed the work of the city's air defense systems during a massive missile attack by Russia on May 16.
It is noted that these people posted videos on social networks that could reveal the situation and specifics of the functioning of Ukrainian air defense systems. Very quickly, these materials were picked up and distributed by Russian propagandists' Telegram channels.
In addition, the SBU discovered and blocked the operation of public online cameras that transmitted real-time footage of Ukrainian air defense. They belong to several Kyiv-based commercial entities, and access to these cameras was not restricted.
It is reported that Russia used the data obtained from them to adjust air strikes on the Ukrainian capital.
The residences of citizens who recorded the operation of air defense systems on video were searched. The devices used to record and distribute the content were seized.
The Criminal Code of Ukraine prohibits the dissemination of information regarding "the direction, movement of weapons, armaments and ammunition in Ukraine, as well as the movement, movement or deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other military formations formed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine" under martial law. According to Part 2 of Article 114-2, the perpetrators face 5 to 8 years in prison.
On the night of May 16, the Russians fired six X-47M2 Kinzhal aerial ballistic missiles, nine Kalibr cruise missiles from ships in the Black Sea, and three missiles from land-based installations at Kyiv. All of them were shot down by Ukrainian air defense systems.
