Cabinet of Ministers allocates an additional nearly 60 million UAH to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the production of biometric passports abroad

The Cabinet has decided to allocate additional funding for the production of personalised blanks of Ukrainian citizen's passports for travelling abroad with a contactless electronic carrier, the processing of which is carried out by foreign diplomatic institutions of the state.
This was announced by the Cabinet of Ministers.
It is noted that the regulator has allocated 58,402 thousand UAH to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for these purposes.
The government has decided that the relevant funding during martial law can be made from the reserve fund. The Cabinet also instructed the departments to report on the use of allocated funds by December 28.
