Ukraine's total public debt increased by nearly UAH 160 billion in April – Ministry of Finance

As of 30 April 2023, information on Ukraine's public and publicly guaranteed debt was published. The total amount of this debt is UAH 4.5 trillion.
In April, Ukraine's public and publicly guaranteed debt reached UAH 4,544.87 billion, or $124.28 billion.
This was reported by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
It is clarified that the external debt was UAH 3,039.37 billion or $83.11 billion, which constitutes 66.87% of the total amount. The internal debt was UAH 1,505.50 billion or $41.17 billion, which is 33.13%.
It is noted that the total public debt amounts to UAH 4,208.30 billion or $115.08 billion. Of this, the external debt is UAH 2,771.59 billion or $75.79 billion, which is 60.98% of the total. Internal debt – UAH 1,436.72 billion or $39.29 billion, which is 31.61%.
As of the end of April, the state-guaranteed debt of Ukraine was UAH 336.57 billion or $9.2 billion. External guaranteed debt – UAH 267.78 billion or $7.32 billion (5.89%), and the internal guaranteed debt – UAH 68.79 billion or $1.88 billion (1.51%).
As reported by the Ministry of Finance, during April 2023, the total amount of the state and state-guaranteed debt of Ukraine increased in hryvnia equivalent by UAH 159.92 billion, and in dollars – by $4.37 billion.
