The repair of one of the nuclear power plant's units, which is now operating at full capacity, has been completed. It has been under repair since March of this year.
This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
The Ministry assures that there is generally enough electricity produced in the country to cover consumer needs.
It is clarified that due to shelling in Donetsk Oblast, 11 settlements have been left without power. Additionally, some consumers in Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Kherson oblasts have been left without electricity. In Kherson, 7000 subscribers were left without electricity due to an overnight attack.
Over the past day, electricity was restored to 33,000 consumers, most of whom are in Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk oblasts.
It is also noted that commercial electricity imports over the past day amounted to less than 1% of consumption, specifically 633 MW/h. There were no electricity exports.
Background. Mind previously reported that the government had been forced to increase electricity tariffs for the population in order to restore the energy system and prepare for the upcoming winter.
