Defence forces eliminated 410 occupiers over the past day. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the russian army has lost 210,350 soldiers.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total enemy losses on 5 June 2023 were approximately as follows:
- Tanks: 3,848 (+11)
- Armoured fighting vehicles: 7,523 (+11)
- Artillery systems: 3,567 (+12)
- Multiple rocket launch systems: 584 (+1)
- Air defence systems: 349 (+5)
- Aircraft: 313
- Helicopters: 298
- Unmanned aerial vehicles: 3,189 (+14)
- Cruise missiles: 1,136 (+4)
- Warhips/boats: 18
- Automotive equipment: 6,312 (+7)
- Special equipment: 484 (+5).
The enemy continues to focus main efforts on attempts to fully occupy Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts. There were 29 combat clashes during the previous day.
Background. Recently, the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council, Oleksiy Danilov, reported that nearly 23,000 russian soldiers had died on the Bakhmut axis since September 2022. In the meantime, the losses of Ukraine are 7.5 times less.
