However, russian shelling is obstructing evacuation from the right bank

The Ministry of Internal Affairs plans to evacuate citizens from the left bank of Kherson Oblast, which is currently under temporary occupation.
The head of the department, Ihor Klimenko, reported this.
At the same time, to date, 1,854 residents of the right bank have been successfully evacuated, the vast majority from the Kherson Korabel microdistrict – 1,416 people. Residents of other regional centres and the villages of Tiahynka, Burhunka, Mykilske, and others were also relocated.
"The evacuation work continues. We are trying to do this as quickly as possible. The strong current and shelling by russian forces are causing problems," Klymenko explained.
Background. The occupiers attacked the Kherson hotline, which people used to request evacuation. The line is now back in normal operation, but interruptions are still possible.
