Ukraine and Moldova to build a border bridge crossing over the Dniester
The bridge will help to alleviate the international border crossing point Mohyliv-Podilskyi – Otaci

Ukraine and Moldova are set to build a border bridge crossing over the Dniester.
This is reported by the Ministry of Reconstruction.
The new crossing will be constructed on the Ukrainian-Moldovan border in the region of the Yampil – Cosăuţi settlements. The plan is to alleviate the pressure on the international crossing point Mohyliv-Podilskyi – Otaci.
The bridge will be over 1,400 meters long, with two lanes of traffic and sidewalks on both sides. The project also includes lowered kerb level on pedestrian crossings, and warning tactile strips for visually impaired individuals.
Background. Mind previously reported that the government planned to triple the freight traffic on the border with Romania. This will require modernising existing crossing points and creating new ones.
