UPDATED: Defenders have regained control over 3 sq. km on the Berdiansk front
Armed Forces advanced from 500 metres to 1 kilometre

UPDATED at 12:22 p.m.:
Deputy Defence Minister Hanna Maliar added that over the past day, the Armed Forces also made advances in the:
- Bakhmut sector – in the area of the Berkhiv reservoir by 250 metres;
- Toretsk sector – by 200 metres.
The fighting is currently ongoing in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Makarivka (Orikhivske direction, Zaporizhzhia Oblast), Maryinka, Yahidne and Vesele (Donetsk Oblast).
The defenders have taken control of up to 3 sq. km on the Berdiansk front in the past day.
This was reported by Andriy Kovalov, spokesman for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The staff representative emphasised that the advancement of the Defence Forces on 12 June at different sections of the Berdiansk front had ranged from 500 metres to 1 km.
Background. Mind previously reported that the Defence Forces had confirmed the liberation of Novodarivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. The enemy spent several days trying to regain control of the village – unsuccessfully.
