In April, Ukrainian banks issued 11.3 mln UAH more in mortgage loans than in March, according to the NBU
It's noted that in April, 41 mortgages were issued totalling 50.1 mln UAH

In April 2023, Ukrainian banks issued 41 mortgage loans for a total amount of 50.1 mln UAH, according to the NBU's monthly survey.
The National Bank of Ukraine reports this.

It is noted that four banks reported issuing new mortgages in April, primarily financing housing purchases on the secondary property market.
As the regulator reports, in April, the average effective rate for mortgages increased to 14.6% (compared to 14% in March).
Additionally, it is clarified that in April, the highest number of mortgage loans was issued in Kyiv and the region – 16 contracts for a total amount of 23.1 mln UAH, which constitutes 46% of the total volume.
Recall that in March 2023, Ukrainian banks issued 36 mortgage loans for a total amount of 38.8 mln UAH.
