The air defence forces shot down 22 air targets during a night attack on Ukraine.
This was reported by the Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy launched an attack from 12:20 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. using Kh-101/X-555 cruise missiles and Shahed-136/131 combat drones. The Ukrainian defenders managed to shoot down 1 missile and 20 out of 20 drones. They also landed one reconnaissance UAV.
The Mayor of Kryvyi Rih, Oleksandr Vilkul, reported the strikes of three enemy missiles on two industrial enterprises. As a result, a 38-year-old man was injured and has been hospitalised.
Serhiy Lysak, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast State Administration, added that fires had broken out at the enterprises, which have already been extinguished by rescue teams. Significant damage was caused to the production buildings, gas pipelines were damaged, and a tyre fitting centre as well as a bus were completely destroyed.
Background. Previously, Mind reported that the defenders had liberated the village of Blahodatne in Donetsk Oblast. Fights around the settlement are still ongoing.
