The two fulfilled conditions in question relate to judicial reform and the media law

The European Union is ready to recognize that Ukraine has fulfilled two of the seven conditions set for it to start negotiations on membership in the bloc.
Source. This was reported by Reuters, citing sources in the EU leadership.
This statement will be reflected in the report of the European Commission's executive.
According to Reuters, positive reports of the European Commission are an important element in the accession procedure of any country to the EU.
As a reminder, Ukraine gained candidate status four months after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion.
However, it has to fulfill a number of conditions before the EU will start the negotiation process. Among them are judicial reform in the country and measures to combat corruption.
According to one of Reuters' sources, a senior EU official, the two conditions in question are judicial reform and a media law.
Ukraine and the EU hope to start negotiations in December this year. This means that Kyiv expects to fulfill the five remaining conditions in just six months.
Background. As a reminder, Jens Stoltenberg said that Ukraine will not receive an invitation to join NATO at the Alliance's summit in July.
