The water level in Kherson is rising again – State Emergency Service

The water level in Kherson is gradually increasing. Since the start of the day, the water level has increased by 2 cm and is currently 4 cm above the norm.
The State Emergency Service reported this.
In addition, 19 settlements remain flooded. Of these, 2 localities are on the right bank of the Dnieper, and 17 are on the left bank.
Over the past day, 20.8 thousand tonnes of water have been pumped out of 76 buildings. In total, over 283 thousand tonnes of water have been pumped out of 843 premises, reports the State Emergency Service.
The service adds that over the past day, 45 tonnes of water (of which 36 tonnes are drinking water) and over 1,000 kg of food products have been delivered.
