The Defence Forces are clearing the occupiers' positions near the Antonivka Bridge.
This was announced during the national TV by Natalia Humeniuk, the spokeswoman of the Southern Defence Forces Joint Press Centre.
"The enemy returns with astonishing stubbornness and tries to deploy them again. As they need to execute the order and simulate bustling activity, which they cannot demonstrate in the Zaporizhzhia and Eastern axes," Mrs. Humeniuk added.
The defenders representative emphasised that the clearing of this area is carried out through counterfire activities. At the same time, the ruscists are increasing the number of shellings, especially in Kherson.
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had freed 37.4 square km from the occupiers over the past week. Meanwhile, during this period, the number of enemy shellings in the east doubled.
