The Wagner Group retreated over a month ago, their “revolt” doesn’t affect the course of the war.
Oleksandr Syrsky, the commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported this in an interview with ABC.
General believes that the story of the PMC Wagner is already ending. However, he emphasised that he does not know when the war with russia will end. Moreover, Syrsky noted that he does not feel pressure from allies about the Ukrainian counter-offensive.
"There is no one pushing us. There is my desire, the desire of my subordinates, and we understand that we want to go out today, for example, to some line," the commander commented.
Background. Mind previously reported that the Ukraine military is succeeding in the vicinity of Klishchiyivka in the Bakhmut axis. Defenders are pushing the occupiers out of the lines, heavy fighting is ongoing.
