The terrorist state of russia launched a kamikaze drone attack on Ukrainian territory overnight, the majority of the UAVs were destroyed by Air Defence.
This was reported by the Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"During the night of 12 July 2023, russian occupiers attacked Ukraine from the north-eastern direction (Kursk) with Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 strike drones. A total of 15 kamikaze drones were involved in the attack. 11 of them were destroyed in the areas of responsibility of the air commands Centre and East," the command stated.
The Kyiv City Military Administration pointed out that all drones heading for the capital had been destroyed. Ihor Taburets, Head of the Cherkasy Oblast Military Administration, reported that a hit on a non-residential infrastructure object in Cherkasy Oblast had caused a fire. Two people sustained burns.
