Over the first 7 months of 2023, the state budget attracted more than UAH from the leasing of state property – SPFU

Over the first 7 months of 2023, over 450 million UAH was received by the state budget from leasing state property. Since the beginning of the year, the State Property Fund has concluded 1,043 new agreements.

This is reported by the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU).

"With the beginning of russian aggression, many Ukrainians had to change their place of residence, and with that they lost either their job or their own business. You can start your own entrepreneurial activity from scratch even in such conditions, by investing minimal capital in renting premises for the development of your business. Today, the State Property Fund accompanies over 14,000 contracts, the lion's share of which – 20% – were concluded with individual entrepreneurs," says Andriy Shramko, director of the Department of Lease and Management of State Property of the State Property Fund.

The total area of state property currently leased by the Fund amounts to almost 8 million m². In July, the Fund directed 70.4 million hryvnia to the state budget from leasing state property, which equates to almost 80% of pre-war levels.

In August, the Fund plans to hold 85 lease auctions and hopes to attract at least 75 million UAH to the state budget through them, as well as existing contracts.
