IAEA must take a more critical view of the occupiers' actions at Zaporizhzhia NPP – SNRI
The occupiers have turned the station into a military facility, stresses Korykov

The IAEA must "not turn a blind eye" to the actions of the russian military at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.
This was stated by Oleh Korykov, acting head of the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate (SNRI).
"All this is happening under the watchful eye of the IAEA, which is constantly at the station. We would like the IAEA to assess these illegal actions that harm safety and wish for a more critical stance from the IAEA at the very least," he was quoted by the RBC-Ukraine news agency.
He reminded that recently, the safety system at unit No. 4 of the station had been breached.
"The integrity of one of the barriers preventing radiation from spreading into the environment was compromised. The primary circuit – water that cools the nuclear fuel – appeared in the secondary circuit, which is used for generating electricity in the turbo generator," Korykov said.
Background. As reported by Mind, energy workers connected the ZNPP to the main 750 kV power line.
