Acting Chargé d'Affaires of Ukraine in Armenia, Senchenko, has died – confirmed by Ukrainian Foreign Ministry
According to local media, the Ukrainian diplomat drowned in Lake Sevan

The Acting Chargé d'Affaires of Ukraine in Armenia, Oleksandr Anatoliyovych Senchenko, has tragically passed away.
This was reported by the Armenian publication News.am and confirmed by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
According to the report, Senchenko drowned while swimming in Lake Sevan. Rescuers found him at a depth of approximately 1.5 metres and brought him to the shore, where medical personnel declared him dead.
According to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Senchenko began his tenure at the ministry in 2003. He served in various roles within the Ministry's First Territorial Department, the Department of Euro-Atlantic Cooperation and Emerging Challenges, the Ministerial Secretariat Department, and the Sixth Territorial Department.
The ministry also clarified that in addition to this, the diplomat was sent on long-term assignments to Ukraine's foreign diplomatic institutions in russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia.
