Ukrainian defenders destroyed an enemy attack helicopter, the Ka-52, on the Bakhmut front on the morning of 17 August.
This was reported by Mykola Oleshchuk, Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"One less russian Ka-52 this morning on the Bakhmut front!" he wrote on a Telegram.
Background. It was previously reported that the defenders had eliminated 480 occupiers over the day. The enemy lost 5 tanks, 17 artillery systems, 24 UAVs, and 18 AFVs.
