The USA to train Ukrainian pilots on F-16s if the EU fails – Pentagon
Ukraine will independently decide on the number of pilots to be trained

The USA has expressed readiness to train Ukrainian pilots on F-16 jets, but this will only happen if there are more candidates than available training positions in EU nations.
Deputy Pentagon Spokesperson, Sabrina Singh, conveyed this, as covered by Ukrinform.
She clarified that Ukraine would determine the precise number of pilots for the training.
Singh highlighted that the Ukrainian candidates must complete an intensive English language programme before commencing their training, indicating a preparation period.
Background. As previously mentioned by Mind, the first group of Ukrainian pilots is currently receiving F-16 training in Denmark.
