Shopping centers are being closed in Izhevsk, Russia, and drone production is being launched in their place
In particular, it is reported about a new development of the IzhBS enterprise - the Granat-4 drone

In Izhevsk, the third shopping center is being closed to organize drone production.
Source. The Insider writes about this with reference to the Telegram channel of the Udmurtia Against Corruption social movement.
In particular, entrepreneurs who rented premises in the Stolitsa shopping center are asked to vacate them by October 15. Earlier, Italmas and Novy Dom were closed.
"First we were kicked out of Italmas, and now they are kicking us out of Stolitsa. Each time we experience stress, high costs and loss of planned revenue. There are fewer and fewer trading platforms in Izhevsk where entrepreneurs can work safely without risking their business. This is very sad. In each shopping center and each new location, we make repairs at our own expense, and of course, no one reimburses us for these repairs when we move," said one of the entrepreneurs.
According to the Udmurtia Against Corruption movement, the Stolitsa and Italmas shopping centers, located next to each other, were bought by Aeroscan. The company's website states that it is engaged in the implementation of unmanned aerial systems for business.
The Novy Dom shopping center is home to the Izhevsk Unmanned Systems Research and Production Association (IzhBS), a subsidiary of the Kalashnikov concern.
In September, the company announced a recruitment drive for designers, technologists, and workers. The IzhBS page on VKontakte, created in August, describes the company's new development, the Granat-4 drone.
"IzhBS is on the sanctions lists of the United States, Britain, Ukraine, and several other countries.
Background. As a reminder, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed the Russian S-400 Triumph air defense system in Yevpatoria. The cost of such a complex could be more than $1.2 billion.
