The Netherlands will help Ukraine to get patrol vessels to protect the grain corridor
Zelenskyy also announced a new decision of the Netherlands to strengthen Ukrainian air defense

The Netherlands will help Ukraine obtain patrol vessels to ensure the security of the grain corridor, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte said.
"Ukraine was able to "disperse" the Russian Black Sea Fleet. And in this way you not only protect yourself, but also ensure the possibility of exporting food from the ports of the Black Sea region. You continue to feed the world, as you have always done. The Netherlands will help Ukraine to get patrol vessels so that the grain corridor system remains safe," he said at a press conference with the President of Ukraine on Friday in Odesa.
In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a new decision by the Netherlands to strengthen Ukraine's air defense.
"We discussed our further possible steps regarding the F-16 coalition, in which the Netherlands plays a leading role, and other aspects of defense cooperation," he wrote on social media following the meeting.
"It is important for us that the frozen Russian assets and their use be directed, in particular, to the reconstruction of Ukraine. The terrorists' assets should be used to restore life after the terrorist attacks," the president emphasized.
It was also reported that Zelenskyy and Rutte visited the Transfiguration Cathedral in Odesa, which was damaged by Russian shelling on July 23 this year.
In addition, they got acquainted with the consequences of Russian attacks on the port of Odesa and the work of grain export corridors.
Background. As reported, the Netherlands will provide Ukraine with additional missiles for the Patriot system.
