Ukrainian Armed Forces comment on Putin's statement about patrolling the neutral zone over the Black Sea
His threats are likely addressed to NATO countries that potentially fall within the range of the Daggers

Russian fighter jets, which, according to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, will soon begin patrolling the neutral zone over the Black Sea, will not change the situation for Ukraine.
Source. This was stated by the spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force, Yuriy Ihnat, Ukrayinska Pravda reports.
"For Ukraine, the aggressor's new statement does not change much, as Russia threatens our country with various types of weapons every day. On the technical side, the characteristics of the X-47 Kinzhal air defense missile allow Russia to launch it at the territory of Ukraine from both the northern and eastern directions. The Black Sea is only one direction. At the same time, Russian aviation is already patrolling the airspace there on a daily basis, including with fighters and reconnaissance aircraft," noted Ihnat.
The Armed Forces representative emphasized that the Russian president's threats are likely addressed to NATO countries that potentially fall within the kill zone of the Daggers. He called the statement "another Putin's horror story."
As reported, Putin said he had ordered the Russian Aerospace Forces to start patrolling the neutral zone over the Black Sea. For this purpose, MiG-31 aircraft with the Kinzhal hypersonic complex will be used.
"This is not a threat that I am announcing now. On my instructions, the Air Force is launching regular patrols in the neutral zone of the airspace over the Black Sea, and our MiG-31 aircraft are armed with Kinzhal systems. As you know, they have a range of over 1,000 kilometers at a speed of 9 strokes," Putin said.
Background. Putin said that MiG-31k aircraft, which carry the Kinzhal missiles, will start patrolling the Black Sea on a regular basis.
