DHL, which failed to sell its business in Russia, has sharply raised prices for its services
Its main competitors in the international market, FedEx and UPS, have completely suspended their operations in Russia

The international logistics company DHL has sharply increased tariffs for its services in Russia.
Source. This was reported by the RBC news agency with reference to a letter sent by the company to its customers.
On average, tariffs have increased by 35%. At the same time, the cost of delivering goods to high-risk countries has risen by 64.6%.
"In accordance with the global pricing policy, DHL Express annually reviews the cost of services, taking into account a number of factors, including inflation, operating and other costs, such as the cost of air transportation, vehicles and their components, fuels and lubricants, including aviation fuel, and an increase in airport fees. All of this significantly affects the cost of our services," DHL said in a letter.
DHL has previously indexed prices annually, but not more than 10%.
After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, DHL stopped delivering parcels within Russia, but remained on the Russian market, carrying out only international transportation. At the same time, its main competitors in the international market – FedEx and UPS – completely suspended their operations in Russia.
DHL tried to sell its Russian business, but, according to the company's annual report, due to changes in the terms of sale, it "became impossible."
Background. As reported, Hyundai will sell its St. Petersburg car plant to a Russian company with a two-year buyout option.
