Russian dictator Vladimir Putin's daughter Yekaterina Tikhonova's National Intellectual Development Foundation, which operates under the Innopractika brand, has acquired a stake in the Geoscan drone manufacturer.

According to the data, since November 16, the fund has owned 10% of the company. This share was purchased from the founder of Geoscan, Alexei Semenov, who owns 87.5%.
The Geoscan Group is Russia's largest manufacturer of civilian aviation drones and photogrammetric data processing software.
In the summer of 2023, Ukraine imposed sanctions on the company due to the fact that its "products are integrated into the chain of production of military and/or dual-use goods and services."
This happened three months after the head of the Bashkir government, Andrei Nazarov, announced the creation of drones for the war in Ukraine at Geoscan-Ufa's facilities.
Background. As a reminder, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said that Ukraine would create an "Army of Robots" and an "Army of Electronic Warfare".
