Russians destroyed the Epicentre shopping centre in Nikopol

The Epicentr shopping centre in Nikopol was destroyed in a Russian attack on Wednesday, 6 March. This was reported by the retail chain's press service.

"Despite the difficult situation in the city, we continued to work so that people could provide themselves with the most important goods. It is painful to realise that at one point a place where hundreds of people have invested a lot of their own efforts and labour turned into a dump. People have lost their jobs, and the residents have lost their bastion of stability," commented Dmitry Tanko, Retail Director of Epicentr K LLC.

It is noted that the city's fire safety officers and the company's employees made every effort to extinguish the fire, but failed to stop the destruction.

Fortunately, there were no casualties.

The destroyed shopping centre was one of the largest shopping facilities in the city with an area of more than 5,100 sq m, supplying essential goods to all nearby settlements and had not stopped operating since the start of the full-scale invasion.

Background. As reported, Epicentr will quadruple its network of electric vehicle charging stations in 2024.
