South Korea cancels Russian ballet tour after request from Foreign Ministry
This is another step towards Russia's international isolation in the cultural sphere

At the initiative of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, the Russian ballet's tour in South Korea has been cancelled.
Source. This is reported on the Facebook page of the Ministry.
"Thanks to the efforts of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Korea and with the support of the Ukrainian community and international partners, the performance of the Russian prima ballerina with the Modance project at the Seoul Art Centre and the Bolshoi Ballet Gala Concert in the capital of South Korea will no longer take place," the statement said.
"This is our next step towards the international isolation of Russia in the field of culture," the ministry said.
The ministry stressed that Russian "cultural" propaganda should have no place on international platforms, and Russian ballerinas should not be on the stages of world theatres.
Background. Earlier it was reported that in the same South Korea, a performance with the participation of Russian ballerina Svetlana Zakharova was cancelled after an appeal from the Ukrainian embassy.
