Some will lose their mineral licenses: Ukraine has started auditing business owners
The president stated this during a press conference.

Ukraine has started auditing business owners who currently hold licenses for mineral resources. The authorities intend to verify the legality of these licenses, and some of them may be revoked.
President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this during the press conference "Ukraine. Year – 2025."
In particular, the president was asked about the review of licenses granted to business owners in previous years, who also held permits for mineral resource extraction.
Zelensky noted that there are many license holders in Ukraine.
"First of all, all our agencies will conduct a real audit of the license holders, and this process is already underway. The last developments in this area were 50–60 years ago. This process allows us to bring order – assessing what exists, how much it is worth, and who owns it. Based on this, the necessary decisions will be made – whether something is legally owned or not, whether the licenses are 'dormant' or actively used," he said.
Zelensky also stated that licenses that are actively in use will remain valid, while those obtained illegally will be returned to the state.
According to him, these issues still need to be discussed within the government.
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that Zelensky would not sign an agreement with the United States that would leave "ten generations of Ukrainians" repaying the debt. Therefore, according to the president, a dialogue with U.S. leader Donald Trump is necessary.
