Ukraine has completed the questionnaire required for accession to the European Union
Now everything is up to the European Commission

What happened? Ukraine has completed a questionnaire for EU accession that was given by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen to Volodymyr Zelensky.
Source. This was announced by Ihor Zhovkva, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, on the national telethon.
Details. According to him “the President promised Ursula von der Leyen during her visit to Ukraine on April 8, that Ukraine would fill out the questionnaire that she had brought with her within a week. Today marks a week, and we are announcing that the document brought by Ms. von der Leyen has been completed by Ukraine.”
Then Zhovkva stated that “the ball” would be on the European Commission’s side, which should prepare a recommendation as to whether Ukraine fulfils the Copenhagen membership criteria. After that, if the recommendation is positive, Ukraine's accession to the EU should be agreed by EU member states.
The Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine added that Ukraine expects to be granted the status of a candidate country for EU membership during the European Council meeting in June.
