The EU adopts a package of sanctions against russia with the oil embargo

It became known that the EU ambassadors adopted a package of sanctions against russia today, including an oil embargo.

Details. According to the report, “Hungary was resisting – Patriarch Kirill deleted from listings.” The journalist also expressed “some frustration and disappointment with Hungary.”
It is noted that the decision should be published in the Official Journal on Friday.
According to Bloomberg, who referred the French presidency of the European Union, the sixth package of sanctions against russia included:
• Sanctions against security and military personnel, industrial and technological sector organizations, oligarchs, propagandists and members of their families;
• A ban on oil imports from russia by sea, which, combined with decisions of Poland and Germany at the national level, will reduce russian oil imports by 92% by the end of the year;
• Disconnection from the Swift system of three russian banks, including Sberbank and one Belarusian bank;
• Expanding bans on exports to russia, including chemicals and high-tech goods;
• Ban on providing services to the russian oil sector;
• Prohibition of three russian media outlets involved in spreading propaganda;
• Ban on consulting services for russian operators.
