The Ukrainian soldiers report about significant progress of the counteroffensive in the south
The Armed Forces return another 8 km of territory to Ukrainian control

Ukrainian forces say they have made significant progress in attacking russian positions in the occupied southern Kherson region.
“In the Kherson region, the Armed Forces liberated 8 kilometers of the occupied territory,” the Azov Dnipro territorial defense unit stated on its Telegram page on Thursday evening.
Last weekend, Ukrainian forces launched an offensive on Kherson from several positions.
There has been little information about the operation since then, but the Ukrainian armed forces appear to have regained control of a number of villages in the northern Kherson region and strengthened the bridgehead over the Inhulets river.
On Wednesday, the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Hennadiy Lahuta, announced that 20 settlements had been liberated.
