What happened? Naftogaz of Ukraine expects to reach agreements on the restructuring of two Eurobond issues in early 2023.

Details. “One of my first decisions after my appointment was to conclude an agreement with Lazard, which helps us in restructuring two Eurobond issues. This refers to the issues for $350 million in 2022 and $500 million in 2026. We have already agreed on the restructuring of the 2024 issue,” he said. Mr. Chernyshov stressed that he expects to reach agreements on restructuring with bondholders “at the beginning of next year”.
He also agreed that the company's state of default makes it difficult to raise funds.
