Zelensky deprived Andriy Derkach, Taras Kozak, Renat Kuzmin, and Viktor Medvedchuk of Ukrainian citizenship

What happened? President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that he had deprived vladimir putin's compadre Viktor Medvedchuk, as well as his associates Andriy Derkach, Taras Kozak, and Renat Kuzmin of Ukrainian citizenship.

Details. "Based on the materials prepared by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the State Migration Service of Ukraine, and in accordance with the Constitution of our state, I decided to terminate the citizenship of four persons: Andriy Leonidovych Derkach, Taras Romanovych Kozak, Renat Ravliyovych Kuzmin, and Viktor Volodymyrovych Medvedchuk," he said.
The President stressed that "if people’s deputies choose to serve not the people of Ukraine, but the murderers who came to Ukraine, our actions will be appropriate". Mr. Zelensky added that these were not the last such decisions, and that the relevant services were working.

Mr. Medvedchuk (former head of the Presidential Administration, former Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada), Mr. Kozak (former owner of the pro-russian propaganda TV channels ZIK, 112 Ukraine and NewsOne), and Mr. Kuzmin (former First Deputy Prosecutor General) are members of the Verkhovna Rada from the Opposition Platform – For Life political party, while Derkach is a former member of parliament. The activities of this party were suspended based on the decision of the National Security and Defence Council and then the Supreme Court.
