Source. The press service of the State Migration Service.
Details. "During the period from October to December 2022, 444 transit declarations for departure from Ukraine were issued. The number of issued declarations increased from 22 in October to 285 in December, i.e. almost 13 times," the service said in a statement. 264 declarations were issued for entry into Ukraine under the common transit procedure.
Recall that from October 1, 2022, Ukraine became a full-fledged country – a party to the Convention on the Common Transit Procedure and the Convention on the Simplification of Formalities in Trade in Goods and began the international application of NCTS. Companies can transport goods from the EU to Ukraine (and vice versa) without additional re-registration in internal transit. The guarantee of payment of customs duties is to be provided by the sender.
The participants of this international agreement are 27 EU countries, Great Britain, Turkey, North Macedonia, Serbia, and four more countries of the European Free Trade Association.
