Thanks to the investigation by the Security Service and the BES into corruption schemes of Ukrnafta's former management, the Ukrainian budget will receive another 687 million UAH.
"The current management of PJSC Ukrtatnafta will transfer the corresponding amount to the state in the form of taxes not paid by the former owners. The former director of the company, who is currently in custody, was notified of a new suspicion of evasion of mandatory payments," the statement said.
Background. Earlier, law enforcement officers exposed Ukrtatnafta's management on another tax evasion: 605 million UAH, which has already been reimbursed to the state.
We remind you that the previous management of the company sold fuel through the petrol station network without paying excise tax. However, the excise duty was included in the price for consumers.
