Customs detects violations worth 1.2 billion UAH in the first quarter of the year
A total of over 179 million UAH worth of offences were seized

Customs revealed violations worth 1.2 billion UAH in the first quarter of 2023.
This was reported by the State Customs Service of Ukraine.
From January to March 2023, customs officers recorded 2,766 violations and seized offences worth over 179 million UAH. Among them:
- industrial goods worth 91 million UAH
- foodstuffs worth 16 million UAH
- currency worth almost 61 million UAH
- vehicles worth almost 10 million UAH.
In the first quarter of the year, customs authorities processed 728 cases and issued fines worth 19 million UAH, of which the state budget received 14 million UAH.
In total, 1,363 cases of customs rules violations worth 350 million UAH were submitted to the courts. As a result of the cases, the courts imposed fines of over 362 million UAH.
