Ukrmetalurgprom: steel production down 66.2%, pig iron down 65.7% in 3 months
Rolled steel production decreased by 69.7%

Ukraine significantly reduced iron and steel production in 2023 compared to the same period (January-March) of 2022.
This is stated in a report by Ukrmetalurgprom.
According to it, in January-March, the company produced
- 1.2 million tonnes of iron
- 1.24 million tonnes of steel
- 1.03 million tonnes of rolled products.
It is specified that the data are based on the operational data of metallurgical enterprises.
Previously. Mind reported that, according to Ukrmetalurgprom, steel production had decreased by 79.3% and iron production – by 77.6% in 2 months.
