The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a draft law to amend the Customs Code and other laws to simplify the transportation of goods for the AFU, the Armed Forces of EU and NATO member states.
This is mentioned on the Ministry of Finance's website.
The draft law, created by the Ministry of Finance and the State Customs Service, simplifies the process of moving military equipment and goods of the AFU, which are going abroad for training or other temporary purposes, as well as of the Armed Forces of the EU and NATO arriving in Ukraine for a similar purpose.
The draft law provides for: the introduction of a declaration form (Form 302) used in EU and NATO member countries, for AFU units; simplification of the declaration of military equipment and goods of the armed forces of the EU and NATO, admitted to Ukraine; exemption from state control documents for military goods, medicines, including narcotic substances, and GMO products; improvement of interdepartmental interaction between the State Customs Service, the Ministry of Defence and the State Export Control through Form 302.
As the ministry reports, the relevant draft law has been developed in accordance with the Government's Action Plan for 2023 and will soon be sent for consideration to the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament).
