Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a law to simplify the management of apartment buildings.
This information is available on the Verkhovna Rada's website.
In particular, the law includes:
- the ability to use electronic signatures (ES) during voting;
- the opportunity to participate in meetings remotely;
- a reduction in the majority of votes needed to pass decisions (to 50%+);
- relieving homeowners associations from the need to notarise signatures on documents for registration actions;
- cancellation of the need to change the existing statutes of homeowners associations.
Background. Mind earlier reported that Zelensky had signed a law to counter the illegal use of drones.
