The BIP001 Conference aims at establishing close levels of contact with people who are deeply involved in the blockchain industry.
We're already holding it for the sixth time, and we deliberately limit the number of participants (a maximum of 80 attendees) so that all of the delegates get the chance to meet each other, and to have a fruitful meeting.
From the outset we've laid down the following principles for the conference:
- All the talks give the presenter's experience and vision of the industry- the entire conference is held exclusively in English
- The event is free of all advertising, marketing, there are no sponsors
- This is not an education event
- You have to already be deeply involved in the industry, and be ready & able to share your experience during the discussions
- We select the participants on the basis that their experience should be interesting for others
- It's a not-for-profit conference. We aim to provide the highest level of service to our guests, and this achieved by the relatively high cost of the admission price
- Although it's a one-day conference, events on the sidelines can go on for 3-5 days
- The audience consists of technology experts, entrepreneurs, investors, bankers, regulators
With the understanding that invited conference guests similarly want to meet broader community (and vice-versa), yet the limited format of BIP001 makes this impossible, we arrange a series of spin-off events, including free meetups and dinners (may require payment for non-BIP001 delegates).
